Hi,

I've pushed a repository to gitlab with CMB + testing data in LFS:

    https://gitlab.kitware.com/ben.boeckel/cmb-lfs-test

Please fork, make changes, file MRs, and play around with it to see what
it's like.

git-lfs is available here:

    https://git-lfs.github.com/

and you'll need to run:

    git lfs install --local

in order to enable the LFS bits.
